After living at our Tanglewood home for 13 years (and paid off the mortgage in as many years), we decided to move to a better home in a better neighborhood. By better, we mean a home with about as many luxuries, but with a smaller garden, and, in a quieter neighborhood. We found this new home at the end of July, and were able to close and move in at the end of August. It took more time, though, to get things settled down, or sorted out, but here we are, in our Nalani home.

我们的新居，七月底看定，不到一个月就搬了进去，但隔了一个多月才基本安顿下来。我们的旧房居住面积不大(约1200平方英尺)，但花园特大。新房居住面积大些(约1400平方英尺)，但花园就小了。不过，花园小正是我们换房的目的。原来的旧房花园够大，可以种菜种花种果树，但整理太费时间。新房建于1995年(我们的旧房建于1975年)，二层楼(这里的住房绝大部分是平屋)，而且地区好，安静。四周有两所教堂，一所学校，和一座大公园。公园从住家旁的一座小树林里穿去就是，那里有可以野餐的地方，还有秋千吊桥爬梯。那一天，我们带恺恩去了，他抱起别个小孩的球，跑上跑下可欢呢。

Tanglewood 与 Nalani: 在美国买房、卖房、和建房

我们的新家，就在这条不到十户人家的小街里。四周有两所教堂，一所学校，和一座大公园。
