To Hong
and Wei, Xiamen is their second hometown. They lived in Xiamen
for over
ten years, more than they ever spent in their hometown Shima.
They graduated from the primary and secondary schools here.
Xiamen University was where Hong's and Wei's dad became a graduate
student, then a teacher,
from 1978 to 1987. The city has developed a lot, and has
grown to be more beautiful. The sight, smell and the sound
of the sea are overwhelming and unforgettable.

对庄宏和庄伟来说，厦门是他们的第二故乡。他们在厦门住了十多年，读了小学和中学，比在家乡石码的时间还多。从1978年到1987年，庄宏庄伟的爸爸在厦门大学，先是读研究生，后当老师。多年过去，厦门市发展很快，也越变越美了。那大海的景色，气味，和声音永远令人陶醉，无法忘怀。
