Oregon's rain season is indeed cold and long, but rain has gradually eased, and spring is here now. The outdoor temperature is 41 Fahrenheit today. (In Xiamen where I used to live, it is 68F.) As I walked our streets, I took pictures as I went. Nothing I saw reflected my childhood, except red berries. This is the season of "Sweeping the Tomb" in China, and we used to see red berries (middle picture, first row) along the path of our excursion. Our relatives at home are sweeping the tombs now. Much appreciated.
